SME for CompTIA’s internal ticketing system (review and recommend course content corrections). Curriculum and exam question author for Linkedin Learning, zyBooks, Coursera, and Google IT.

Provided high-level technology services for small business customers in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. As the company’s first hired employee, I directly influenced the growth and prosperity of the growing customer base. Responsibilities included planning, implementing, managing, and supporting IT infrastructures and technology staff management. A standard service catalog included disaster recovery, firewalls, security, virtualization, site-to-site VPN connectivity, and cloud computing solutions. Other duties included business technology planning and forecasting, site surveys for technology reviews, and C-Level customer-facing presentations and meetings.

Courses focused on the game development and design process. Topics include conceptual and design skills, material and asset collection, character/world definition and creation, user interface (UI) planning, and gameplay structure. Upon completion of the course, students will create a game design document (GDD) draft, assets to be further used in development courses, and a portfolio.

The curriculum included introductory computing concepts, basic scripting/coding, business applications training, cloud computing, virtualization, security concepts, and digital citizenship concepts.

Global IT Manager for a division of the Hasbro Toy Company. Working for such a dynamic start-up placed me in the position where I was responsible for the IT direction in an organization that grew from twelve employees to several hundred in a short period of time. Responsibilities included technology staff management, organization and departmental IT budgeting, multi-site infrastructure planning and management, and overall end-user IT support. I was also directly responsible for the presence of technology at major industry trade shows, including E3 and Toy Fair.
