The Foamstorm Froth


🥤 Ingredients

  • 2 packages vanilla cake mix
  • 10 oz A&W Root Beer
  • 2 cans cream cheese frosting
  • Optional: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Root Beer Float cereal

🥣 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your pan
    • Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Combine ingredients
    • In a large mixing bowl, add:
      • 2 packages vanilla cake mix
      • 10 oz A&W Root Beer
      • (Optional) 1–1½ cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Root Beer Float cereal
  4. Whisk the mixture
    • Mix until smooth and evenly combined.
    • The soda will fizz—this is normal.
    • The cereal will soften slightly in the batter.
  5. Pour into pan
    • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake
    • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool
    • Let the cake cool completely (20–30 minutes) before frosting.
  8. Frost the cake
    • Spread 2 cans of cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
  9. Serve
    • Slice and enjoy!

⭐ Optional Extras

  • Add a splash (or more) of root beer to the frosting (and mix) to add flavor and color.
  • Sprinkle Cinnamon Toast Crunch Root Beer Float cereal on top of the frosting for garnish and crunch
  • Add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth
  • Chill before serving for a thicker, dessert-like texture
